Hello my lovelies the greenhouse and parts of the garden are looking great this year. Last year we grew some Bell Peppers or as my Kiwi cousins would call them Capsicums.
We are growing some new foods amongst the varieties we like to grow already. Photos are to follow at the end of this post. This year’s food includes corn on the cobs, carrots parsnips salad vegetables herbs and fruits..
Today was the first day I felt well enough to do something in the garden. So I managed to clear two of our planters which was smothered in weeds which have protected the fuchsia shrub. I can’t remember what type of a fuchsia she is but she is smothered in flowers every year and the 3rd year since I adopted the no dig technique and has been more lovely flowers appearing year on year. The individual flowers are significantly better in terms of volume as well as high quality flowers. As the flowers were fewer in numbers as well as the quality of individual flowers differed in shape and some were deformed shaped flowers and petals..
Finally I even found a poor miniature rose bush while looking rather spindly looking it has a few green healthy leaves.. since it has nothing around it anymore, it can flourish with some TLC and the addition of some organic fertiliser pellets…
On this wonderfully hot by 28°C and sunny Friday afternoon in South East London North West Kent borders… Sending love with gentle hugs and wishing you all a symptom and|or pain free weekend. I’m having my cannabis medicine on the garden with Steve Wright on Radio 2 ❤️
