Watch “Insulin Resistance Diet: Why It Has To Be Low-fat, Plant-based & Whole Food | Mastering Diabetes” on YouTube

Hello lovelies for anyone who never visited before and seeing this for the first time I have Reactive Hypoglycemia. I come from the UK and have been working on stabilising the blood glucose levels and finding the cause of my RH attacks. Ive found certain foods trigger RH symptoms these are hyperglycemic and hypoglycemic depending on the trigger and how severe it effects me. I’ve had various tests and these have revealed I have an intolerance for carbohydrates. So the endocrinologist said to eat protein with each meal and don’t have high amount of carbs..

I’m inclined to agree with her to a point. I have definite food sensitivities to gluten aswell as simple processed carbohydrates such as white bread pasta rice flour and other highly processed gluten free goods that seem to have contained refined sugars and unhealthy fats. As a result, I concluded my inability to process a certain amount of carbohydrates was down to insulin resistance. So I decided to look for information to help me feel better as the high protein and fat diet wasn’t helping. It only seem to be compounding the symptoms. So like Dr Cyrus, I decided to educate myself and learn how to eat. My aims are to gain insulin sensitivity and foods that only plant based. That don’t cause any triggers for RH attacks

I’ve been doing some research to find out what kinds of foods I can consume which will help insulin resistance. Then I came across Dr Cyrus Khambatta PhD along with Robbie Barbero and the Diabetes Method on YouTube channel Physicians Committee and recently discovered the Diabetes Method YouTube channel.

I went on to purchase the same titled book and I have improved my symptoms and have managed to slowly gain weight and the symptoms aren’t as severe. In conclusion a low fat whole foods plant based diet that is low in fat oil salt and sugar. I have changed my unrefined sugar to a plantbased low GI sugar alternative. I also test my blood glucose levels before and 2 hours after eating. In addition to this the glucometer comes out before I go to bed. Also testing my blood when I’m feeling symptomatic. However I’m not always aware of symptoms when my blood sugar levels are low. ❤️
