England Weather Forecast Conditions – A Brief Discussion On Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Hello lovelies I have never considered myself to have what the professionals call SAD or Seasonal Affective Disorder. For anyone unfamiliar SAD is a condition that has a physiological and psychological effects on the individual living with this condition.

The basic definition and symptoms of SAD is the lack of sunshine (especially in the winter months) that causes varied symptoms which may have a detieriating impact on the sufferer such as depression amongst other symptoms… Treatment may include UV lighting over a set period of time which claims to improve symptoms. I find it interesting that we also get our main supply of vitamin D from the sun. I’ve pondered whether vitamin D or the lack of sunshine are connected with SAD..

However the sunshine has always had a real positive effect on my disposition. When the sun shines into our bedroom, it gives me a lovely boost of positivity. I’ve had this experience for as long as I can remember.

An instant mood booster excitement bubbles inside me at the anticipation of a warm sunny day. The sunshine always puts me in a great mood..

Anyway while the day here looks somewhat overcast today next week(according to the weather channel) is going to be sunny with warm temperatures.. Enjoy the rest of your weekend wherever you may be ❤️

How to Say Yes in French, German, Korean, and Other Languages

Hello lovelies this was an interesting and fun quick read. I’ve lways been fascinated with different languages aswell as body language and their meanings.

We all know everyone has different ways of doing and say things in the native language or additional languages we speak. Saying yes is one I naturally thought existed in all languages in our wonderful world called earth.

But reading this article from duolingo.com, I’ve found that some language don’t use yes at all in their language. Such as Irish and Welsh. The Irish language doesn’t have a word for yes but instead reply repeating the verb from the question like a keyword. This also happens in other countries.

So, if you’re curious you may want to read on to find out which country uses “finger nodding” which country nods their heads for no and shakes their head from side to side for yes. Lastly, another cultural mannerism from India using the head of which I’ve seen my Indian friends use.. Enjoy this five minute read ❤️

Watch “Foods That Help Diabetes Naturally | Dr. Neal Barnard Live Q&A” on YouTube

Hello lovelies I like to share inspirational videos, information, and the science pertaining to issues such as Reactive Hypoglycemia and Prediabetes aswell as all types of diabetes. This includes information on things cannabis and newsworthy articles and posts, mental health aswell as children’s health development and health care pertaining to help the disabled of all ages and gender identities live the best kind of life through food.

I seen improvements in my homeostasis and general health. I have taken charge of my health as only food can help control the RH symptoms. I still produce insulin and my doctor says Metaformin would likely make me ill due to the side effects on some people with hypoglycemic emergencies.

So I like to share inspirational videos about nutritional health for the gut microbiome and improving human health ❤️

Watch “Fighting Insulin Resistance, PCOS, Endometriosis + More: What To Eat & Not To Eat | Dr Gemma Newman” on YouTube

Hello lovelies an interesting little video I’d wished I’d seen years ago as I’ve had endometriosis and adeomyosis which required surgery in the end due to years of painfully heavy periods and loss of blood. I was still consuming dairy and some occasional animal foods such as fish as I was naively believed I needed it for protein.

But I didn’t know what damage eating animal products was doing to me. If I had a message to give a younger me, it would be this.

If I had eaten a whole food low saturated fat plantbased diet then I wonder if I’d have been as sick as I now am.

Ending on a positive note I’ve been much better with a vegan lifestyle. I’ve no vitamin deficiencies anymore. My skin doesn’t itch and my IBS symptoms are much improved and have periods of remission. In between the Reactive Hypoglycemia I feel great considering the health problems I live with.. Enjoy ❤️

The Simpa Life Episode 79; Clark French Cannabis In The Community.

Hello lovelies this is a very interesting podcast with Simpa interviewing a dear friend of mine Clark French.. He has been a guiding light in the cannabis community in the UK in the last ten years. He’s appeared everywhere from parliament to TV and news media such as Sky BBC and other media telling his story and journey as a patient living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) advocating for cannabis.

But we’ve known Clark (Mr Vegan and I) for 6 years in the cannabis community in the UK.

For anyone who is new to this site (hello lovelies thank you for visiting) I have multiple complex health conditions (such as IBS, autoimmune conditions, Critical Illness Polyneuropathy (CIP) Neuropathy 3 prolapsed discs, Reactive Hypoglycemia and Osteoarthritis to name a few) which impact on each other at times making it difficult to ascertain which is causing which problem.

I currently consume cannabis flower primarily for pain. However I have observed several other effects that have been beneficial to my health that are not being currently met by opiates. I have had chronic asthma since childhood and a two time bout of double Pneumonia with severe sepsis shock with PEs occurring in March and May of 2013 left my lungs and heart damaged.

As a result of this I also have a number of chronic conditions complications of the Sepsis et al. I have progressive lung condition and fibrotic changes to my lung function. Cannabis has improved my breathing, my peak flow measurement has improved and it also seems to stop my blood glucose levels from spiking.

This is an in depth conversation between Clark and Simpa. Questions answered such as… What happened to the United Patience Alliance? What are your plans for the future? These and more questions are answered ♥️

Duolingo Speaking & Learning Languages

Hello lovelies I thought I’d share this with you lovely people. I’ve got many hobbies and found before becoming very ill over the last four and a half years. I began with learning German. I could already speak Spanish almost fluently. I did Spanish at school and I am bilingual with Romanichal and English as my first language.

My health problems had took over my life and trying to stabilise my glucose levels had became all consuming. A combination of trying to help myself and the preexisting conditions also impacting made my health needs worse. Then a sudden family crisis triggered a series of RH attacks that set me on a roller-coaster of illness where I could only rest until the symptoms settled..

I completed this task almost 2 weeks ago but was too sick to write… But yippee ich bin gut jetzt! ❤️

Watch “I Watched Myself Go Bald Three Times | BORN DIFFERENT” on YouTube

Hello lovelies this I had to share this inspirational story meet Chloe Bean who lives an autoimmune condition called Alopecia.

This subject has a personal interest for me as I have been losing my hair for years. I have auto immune disorders and auto immune Alopecia is in the family. While I have no balding patches I’ve lost double the volume of my preexisting hair. This being said when I wear my hair down, I can see my scalp clearly in my natural hair parting when I couldn’t before.

The impact of having thinning and balding hair and if it would happen to me, is something I’ve wondered for years. As my grew up watching my very close relative lose their hair to the point they wore wigs daily..I saw how devastating it was for them as a female to lose their hair.

This video inspired me to write aswell as Will and Jada Pinkett – Smith and the Oscar’s incident where Will felt compelled to defend his wife against a insensitive joke told by comedian and actor Chris Rock. I hope this inspirational story helps anyone whichever gender you identify as on this wonderfully sunny Good Friday ❤️🖤💜💙💚💛

Watch “Biscuits 2 Ingredients : No Sugar , No Flour , No Egg! Eat Without Guilt!” on YouTube

Hello lovelies I thought I’d share these yummy looking biscuits.. I’ve never been comfortable with the whole “guilt” thing over food.. I am fully aware though that people are addicted to certain foods and drinks high in unhealthy fats and refined sugars aswell as highly processed foods. However I’ve experienced some element of guilt when it comes to food until my relationship with food changed for the better.

My relationship with food has been mainly positive. My mother and aunties always spoke about how fruit and vegetables grains were good for you. They made me aware that we are what we eat. That food aswell as herbs has a medicinal effect on the body.

Coming from being raised in a Romani Gypsy family food was scarce but somewhat unprocessed as a child. As my mother made her own meals from scratch with what ingredients they could afford at the time.. The usual meat vegetables which were varied. Mum would bake her own desserts aswell as Romani dishes such as Bacon and Onion Pudding, and Joe Grey. Mum loved herbs and spices from around the world used in Spanish and Italian and Indian cuisine and in other savoury and sweet dishes. She could make wicked suet dumplings. I use vegetable suet for sweet and savoury dishes.. It is shredded plant fat in the shape of pellets like minced beef from Cow’s. I used the Atora brand.

For my international friends suet dumplings are a simple tasty comfort food usually added in stews casserole type dishes where suet helps form a dough like consistency and rolled into balls the size of golf balls. These are usually put into a lidded pot and cooking in the gravy for the last 20 minutes of cooking. These when made into a sweet dish a dessert called Spotted Dick is made with sultanas or and raisins.

Or another called Jam Roly Poly (or known as Jelly elsewhere. Jelly is a different dessert where Jam is used as a preserve in pastries aswell as sandwiches and on toast. Jelly in the UK is a gelatine and fruit flavoured water dessert that’s chilled until set) This is again put into a container or cloth them steamed. Maybe I’ll write up the recipe it’s divine with custard) suet is usually combined with flour and water.

She was later trained as a chef. I’ve changed my diet and lifestyle twice firstly I stopped eating all animal flesh cooked and prepared raw or ready to cook animal products such as ham chicken sausages and continued consuming dairy and eggs. Then I educated myself and cut out the dairy and eggs opting for a plantbased vegan diet and lifestyle. As I had already stopped buying products tested on animals in the 1980s. I took it a step further when I found out lipsticks and other beauty products contained, they were made from animal fat, to buy only vegan products made only from plants. I boycott all companies that test and pay to test their products on animals.

Although my definition of what constitutes the quoted amount of ingredients seems to be different to this recipe when I viewed it..

But this being said I was curious as to what you can make from just 2 ingredients. Although I liked the ingredients (I counted more than two) and the recipe appealed to me. It would’ve been something that I would make and eat. I like to share inspirational videos. Lastly it doesn’t mean to say that you can’t enjoy these even if I can’t eat them.. Enjoy ❤️
